1. What we do (our role)
Stichting Collegium Novum operates a platform and support process that helps connect international students and Dutch businesses through structured, real-world projects.
- We collect interest via website forms and communicate with participants.
- We may help scope a project into a clearer brief and facilitate introductions.
- We may provide lightweight coordination (e.g., check-ins, templates, handover guidance).
2. What we do NOT do (no employment facilitation)
We are not an uitzendbureau, detacheringspartij, employment agency, or intermediary for employment.
We do not recruit, place, employ, second, or pay students, and we do not conclude employment agreements on behalf of any party.
- No employment relationship is created between Stichting Collegium Novum and any student or business.
- Any collaboration, internship, assignment, freelance work, or employment (if any) is arranged solely between the student and the business.
- Stichting Collegium Novum is not a party to such agreements and does not provide payroll or HR services.
Arbeidsrecht: Labour law is not applicable to Stichting Collegium Novum in relation to the collaboration between student and business, because we do not facilitate employment in any form.
3. Your responsibilities (students)
- Provide accurate information when submitting forms.
- Decide independently whether to engage with a business.
- If you agree to work with a business, ensure you understand the scope, expectations, and any legal or tax implications for your situation.

4. Your responsibilities (businesses)
- Provide accurate information about your organization and project needs.
- Decide independently whether to engage with a student.
- You are responsible for ensuring any collaboration complies with applicable laws and internal policies (e.g., confidentiality, IP, compliance, HR).
- If you choose to offer an internship, contract, or employment, you do so directly and at your own responsibility.
5. Projects and agreements
Any project brief, timeline, deliverable, or working arrangement is a direct matter between the student and the business.
- We may suggest templates or best practices, but we do not provide legal advice.
- We do not guarantee outcomes, deliverables, or performance.
- Confidentiality, IP ownership, compensation (if any), and liability should be agreed directly between the student and the business.
